Welcome to Nardin Park UMC!
Nardin Park UMC celebrates that everyone is created in God’s image and is of sacred worth. We welcome all into full participation in our church without regard to age, race, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, family configurations, religious background, socio-economic situation, citizenship, language, and/or ability.
Here are a few things you might want to know:
Nardin Park is located on West 11 Mile Road between Orchard Lake and Middlebelt Roads in Farmington Hills, Michigan. See our Contact page for our address, directions, and phone numbers. (Please note: our building is currently closed, outside of Sunday worship.)
Where to park:
First-time guests are invited to use specially designated parking areas close to the main entrance on the east side of the building, by the Sanctuary doors. The only accessible doors on Sundays are the Sanctuary doors on the east side of the building and the Park Place doors on the south side of the building.
What is the Sunday service like?
Currently we offer LIVESTREAM services or in person worship on Sundays at 9AM or 11AM! The 9AM is a band-led service featuring our Hundredfold band and our 11AM is a classical worship service, featuring organ music and pulpit preaching.
Do you have a nursery and a children and youth Sunday school?
Please Note: Due to Covid, we are currently not offering Sunday school or childcare.
Newborn-toddlers, two-year-olds, and 3 & 4 year olds have special age-appropriate rooms on the main floor. Two-year-olds and older have special guided learning experiences each week. Kindergarten-12th grade have classes as well. See education: Children's and Youth sections for more details.
Will I be singled out as a guest?
Relax. You are not asked to stand to be recognized or even to wear a name badge. We would appreciate your providing us with your name and contact information on the Connection Card. We like to connect with our guests to thank them for coming!
Guests are also invited to stop by the Welcome Center adjacent to the sanctuary after worship to receive a warm welcome and a special gift.
Will I be expected to give money?
The ministries of Nardin Park UMC are financially supported by voluntary contributions of its members and friends. We do not expect a contribution from our guests.
