Sudden Cardiac Arrest / AED Awareness Presentation

Nardin Park UMC has purchased three new defibrillators (AEDs), funded by donations from the Bough Family, Memorial Funds, and the Rummage Sale. The new AEDs are tools that Combat Sudden Cardiac Arrest and will be located in the Main Hall, Chapel Hall, and upstairs.

Two training sessions are coming up where you can attend a certification session and/or an awareness session to administer this life-saving device.

  • Sunday, February 25th, after 11 a.m. church service is a certification session.
    • 3-hour certification training in first aid, CPR, and AED
    • Open to 16 members of the church and renters
    • MPR Room
  • Sunday, March 3rd, after 11 a.m. church service is an awareness training session.
    • 30-minute awareness training on the AED and CPR
    • Open to ALL church members and renters
    • Mercer Hall

Please consider doing awareness training each quarter of the year, depending on interest. If you are interested in attending, please call or text Tom T. to see if space is still available. You do not need to be certified to use these tools, but it is helpful.
