The youth (grades 6-12) will gather in Park Place on March 1st from 12:30-2 PM to make their own pizzas and decorate a cupcake. The youth from First Methodist Farmington, West Bloomfield, and Franklin Community will be joining us. Please let Martha know if you are able to attend by February 25.

We are pleased to announce that the Children's Ministry program at Nardin Park has been awarded funding from the Making Meaning Together grant offered by the Michigan and Rio Texas conferences. The purpose of the grant is to seek new ways for children to become more actively involved in the worship life of the church. Thanks to this grant opportunity, we will be creating some beautiful and significant pieces for the whole congregation to enjoy.

We will begin working on these pieces on March 15 & April 12 at both the 9:00 & 11:00 AM services during Sunday school. We are hoping that all the children will be able to participate on these days.

In the springtime, they will be weaving a runner for the chancel table and smaller cloths to cover the Communion elements.

During Sunday school on March 22nd and 29th, the children will be making their own resurrection gardens. They will be using a small garden pot that contains items and symbols of the resurrection. As this project will take more time to complete, please try to have your children attend on both of these days.
