Children & Youth Summer Activities
The children and youth (1st through 12th grade) will be leading worship at both services on May 18th. There will be no Sunday school classes on this day.
Pentecost Sunday
Pentecost Sunday is June 8. This will be a very exciting day as the children will be singing at both services! We will also be going on a Pentecost Parade in the Sanctuary! Be sure to wear something red.
Children's Ministry Training
June 28 (9:00 -2:00)
Join others from the congregation for a training for the Young Children and Worship program. This training session is called Young Children and Worship which is a Montessori styled program of worship geared to young children (ages 4-9). It is multi-sensory and encourages children in various learning styles. It is woven with wonders for all children to experience.
Anyone who is interested in serving and teaching young children is invited to attend! People who have previously taught the Godly Play curriculum will find this very interesting, as there are many parallels. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Finally, parents of young children are encouraged to participate as they will gain new and fresh insights into their children's faith development.
